With your help, we can turn imagination into reality. Google recently announced plans to build and test super high-speed broadband networks in one or more trial locations across the country. To qualify, Google is asking communities to show their interest and support by nominating their city for consideration. That’s where you come in.
Say “YES” to a high-speed Lenexa
Follow these quick and easy steps to nominate Lenexa for Google’s high-speed broadband trial:
Step 1: Click on the Lenexa map (at right) to add your name and comments to our petition and mark your geographic area of interest within our community.
Step 2: Follow this link to Google’s website and select “Nominate your community,” or click on the “Get Involved” arrow at right.
Step 3: Tell your neighbors! The more Lenexa citizens who say “YES” to high-speed broadband, the better our chances of being selected. Google needs to see our support for this – let’s show them!
Check out our Google-maps based web app! It shows locations of schools, hospitals, businesses and others that would benefit from the availability of a high-speed fiber network.
